Or have the ultimate shopping trip in the designer boutiques. Perhaps cruise on the River Seine or eat fabulous French food in some of the top Michelin starred restaurants. Sound familiar? Paris, however, isn’t too far at all to travel from the UK. A short train journey and even shorter plane ride, you could be there within the hour. Which makes it a perfect weekend destination. Iceland is capturing the imagination of more of us each year. It’s fast becoming a popular jaunt for a weekend getaway. Who would be surprised with the breathtaking Blue Lagoon or watching Icelandic horses performing in theatre? You could even go hunting the Northern Lights in Iceland at certain times of the year. We may not all want to admit it, but a trip to “marbs” is on many bucket lists. That would have been before the Made In Chelsea, or TOWIE crew got there. It’s a designer boutique resort in Southern Spain. With 27km of white sandy beaches, what is not to love? Many people want to go so they can head to the beautiful marina at Puerto Banus, which is filled with luxurious yachts. It’s a sight not to be missed.
Known for it’s old town square and charm, Prague is one destination people want to visit at least once. If it’s not for the sights, then you may go to experience the food and the beer. The beer specifically is known for being the best in Europe. There is only one way to find that out for sure, isn’t there? Prague is easily done in a weekend. It is a couple of hours away on a plane and has excellent transport links to get you to all the places you want to see.
