It’s not always easy to stay motivated. If you have a weight loss goal or want to improve your general health and well being, it can be an idea to try and push yourself. Sometimes, when you have an end goal or due date, you have to get things done. So, why not challenge yourself to run a 5k or 10k race? Start small, but give yourself a health goal to work for this year.

Relationships

In life, we have many relationships. Not just the romantic ones we have, but the bonds we have with family and the connections we have with friends, colleagues, and associates. They’re all important, and some can take more work than others. So, for 2017, don’t give up on anyone – put more effort in instead.

Family

Family comes first. They always have done and always will. If you have a toxic relationship with any family member, try to look at it objectively. You might always blame them for their ways, but is holding a grudge healthy for either of you? Instead, work on it, forgive and forget for 2017. You want to make the most of life, every second of every day. So make your relationships with family count and start getting more out of them over the next 12 months.

Significant Other

Family and friends can be testing at times, but they’re nothing compared to the relationship you have with your partner. If you’re head over heels in love, never forget that. There are so many ways that you can make extra cash, whether that’s getting a second job, selling items you no longer need or generating an online income from a blog. Regardless of which avenue you choose, you now have an aim or two to work towards over the next 12 months.

Savings

Aside from what you earn, you can also look at the savings you can make. When it comes to what you spend and what you save away, you can make a huge improvement to your financial situation by looking at both. Are there areas of your life you can cut back on financially? Work out what you spend and then decide. And, think about the savings you have. Do you have enough or could you be contributing more each month?

Passions

A lot of the time, people tend to think of resolutions as a means to cutting back or stopping things. Instead, by focusing on yourself, you can make improvements to your life that aren’t centered around losses at all.

Hobbies

We all have hobbies, even if it’s just one. Whether you play a sport, like to read, or knit, why not make 2017 the year that you focus on the things that you love. Life doesn’t have to be all work and no play, it can be as much work and play as you want. The balance you have between the two is entirely up to you, so why not focus on the fun this year?
