#WowNoCOW – Wondering what that is?
Let us tell you about Oatly then. The oat-based milk alternative, coming from the heart of Sweden.
It’s milk made for humans, packed with a lot of nutritional goodness – fibers , betaglucans that are good for your heart and body.
Did you know approximately 75% of Earth’s population is lactose intolerant? Or the fact that oats provide an ideal balance of proteins, fats and carbs for the human body?
Neither did we!
Founded in 1985 by Rickard Öster, a scientist from Lund University in Sweden, Oatly offers a delicious oat-based milk substitute which is perfect for those following a dairy-free diet, as well as for anyone looking to follow a healthier lifestyle.
To find out more about this innovative young company we went to Original Oatly BREAK-FEST, a bouttique one-day festival that brought a little taste of Sweden to south London.
While Swedish acts Urban Cone and Marigold took the stage performing great festival tunes, we’ve indulged in yummy pancakes and muffins, hopped on smoothie bikes to generate the power to make a drink.
We watched Kaninhop – rabbit showjumping (yes, you read that right!), and enjoyed the headliner of the day – Kyla La Grange’s captivating performance.
You can now get Oatly range from Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco, Holland & Barrett and other retailers.
